AVID Elementary Implementation: 3–6 (2025–26)

The AVID Elementary Implementation: 3–6 Community of Practice explores strategies and resources focused on successful AVID implementation in 3–6 classrooms. Educators will gain an understanding of their role in an AVID Schoolwide system and how educator encouragement and monitoring of Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR®) strategies build the foundation for what students need for college and career readiness.

3-day summer virtual professional learning event featuring real-time interaction with facilitators and peers nationwide in both a Community of Practice and a session illustrating ways to extend learning throughout the school year, engage in productive planning, and ignite inspiration campuswide. Plus, time is provided before or after virtual learning for individuals to further reflect or for sites and districts to host their own activities.
